CUI Japan releases M8 connectors and cable assemblies.

All models are IP67 compliant, featuring M8 connectors and cable assemblies that ensure robust connections.

Following the release of the M12 connector in January, the M8 connector and its cable assemblies have now been introduced. All models are IP67 waterproof compliant, available in male/female configurations with pin counts ranging from 3 to 8 pins (3, 4, 6, and 8 pins are for A-coded 1Gbit Ethernet, while 5 pins are for B-coded Profibus).

A robust M12 connector cable assembly is now available. It ensures a stable waterproof connection when used in conjunction with existing embedded M12 connectors.

Following the panel-mounted M12 connectors introduced in January, we are now launching a lineup of cable assemblies. Options include male/female, straight/L-shaped, and shielded/unshielded types, with 3 to 12 pins (A code, 1Gbit Ethernet) and cable lengths of 1 to 3 meters available. All models feature IP67-rated CUI connectors, ensuring robust connections in various industrial environments.

The M12 connector has been introduced as a new addition to the lineup. The IP67 waterproof connector excels in environmental resistance, making it ideal for industrial applications such as factory automation.

The CUI M12 (A code) round connector offers 135 models in 27 series, featuring variations in male/female configurations, pin counts, mounting screw/nut pitch and tightening positions, as well as terminal types. All models are IP67 waterproof compliant.

● The production time for casting prototypes can be shortened! Since model production is not required, the time needed to create prototypes, which previously took about a month, can be significantly reduced. ● Model costs can be reduced! By directly producing sand molds from 3D data, there is no need for model production costs. If changes to the model are necessary, they can be addressed by modifying the 3D data. ● Similar products with different shapes and dimensions can be prototyped simultaneously! With one molding process, different products with similar shapes or varying dimensions can be molded at the same time. This allows for the verification of multiple types in a short period.

We developed a system that expands the functions of the electronic manifest ASP "KENET" to record the traceability from waste to the creation of recycled resources using blockchain technology. In May 2025, as a pre-service, we implemented registration functions from waste registration to the input of the recycling process and the completion of recycled resources. In January 2026, we newly developed functions for inventory management and shipping of recycled materials. The system also includes a CFP registration function for recycled resources, allowing for data input on the decarbonization effects of resource circulation. We aim to utilize the waste management functions cultivated over 18 years with KENET to advance into the field of resource circulation and work towards the effective use of waste for a circular society.
