The precision power chuck KCHP/VKCHP was developed for cylindrical grinding machines. KCHP can operate with a hydraulic drawbar and can also be activated by an air cylinder mounted on the spindle side. VKCHP operates through a rotating air tube that passes through the spindle, eliminating the need for an air cylinder. Quick change of jaws with micron-level tolerance has been achieved.
