Using lightweight and heavyweight impact sound sources (tapping machine and banging machine), the floor being measured is excited to generate impact sound, and the lightweight equivalent sound pressure level and heavyweight maximum sound pressure level are measured directly below. The floor impact sound level is then determined. From these results, the L value is calculated and evaluated.

Generate pink noise in the sound source room, measure the sound pressure levels on the source side and the receiving side, and calculate the inter-room sound pressure level difference. From the results, calculate and evaluate the D value.
