[Cutter Case Study] Contributing to Quality Improvement with Sharp Cutting

We will introduce a case study that addresses the challenges faced by customers struggling with the occurrence of bundled packaging and empty bags.
■Challenge
While manufacturing individually wrapped confectionery products, the commonly used iron and stainless steel blades were wearing out quickly, leading to poor cutting performance and the generation of bundled packaging and empty bags. Although we were removing these issues with inspection equipment, we wanted to eliminate them entirely due to their frequent occurrence.
■Proposal
Ultra-hard cutter NOVAS for food packaging machines
■Result
After switching to this product, the sharpness of the blades improved. Compared to standard iron and stainless steel, the lifespan is also longer, enabling long-term continuous operation and stable production. Additionally, the frequent occurrence of bundled packaging and empty bags has significantly decreased.
■Summary of the case
- Challenge: Frequent occurrence of bundled packaging and empty bags
- Key points of the proposed product: Sharpness, long-term stable operation, reduction of waste
