NetSpring announces the launch of two new models: the entry model and standard model of the authentication appliance server "AXIOLE."

NetSpring Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Susumu Seibu) has announced the launch of a new series of its flagship product, the LDAP-based authentication appliance server "AXIOLE," coinciding with the introduction of the new firmware AXIOLE Ver.1.10. The hardware has been completely revamped, and the series will consist of two lines: an entry model and a standard model. Shipping of the new lineup will begin on December 21.
The AXIOLE Ver.1.10 firmware includes a new feature called "LDAP Data Reflection," which enables user data to be reflected across AXIOLE appliances and general LDAP servers distributed across multiple corporate locations and university campuses. Additionally, for academic research institutions, the IdP functionality of Shibboleth, which enables single sign-on between different organizations, will also be offered as a new optional feature.
The entry model is targeted at small to medium-sized businesses, while the standard model is aimed at educational institutions such as universities and public organizations for widespread adoption. For more details about AXIOLE, please visit http://www.axiole.jp/.
