A.Q Toilet has won the "Grand Prize" at the Japan Resilience Award 2024.

The "A.Q Toilet" has won the "Grand Prize" at the 10th Japan Resilience Award (Resilience Award 2024), hosted by the Resilience Japan Promotion Council, held on April 23, 2024, at Iino Hall in Tokyo, for its "Off-Grid Water Recycling System Utilizing Composite Fermentation Technology."
In the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, four A.Q Toilets were provided to three evacuation centers in Noto Town, where the toilet environment was particularly challenging, and they are still being used by the affected residents. The toilets feature warm seats and are equipped with washlets, allowing for a comfortable and safe experience comparable to normal living conditions even during disasters and emergencies. The ability to provide comfortable toilet functions even when water and sewage infrastructure is disrupted was recognized, leading to this award from the perspective of national resilience and disaster response.
