A drone capable of autonomous flight without relying on GNSS uses a pole camera that can extend up to 11 meters to capture images of infrastructure structures (architecture and civil engineering). It extracts damage and creates damage diagrams through image analysis technology (AI and manual). This is a robot developed through joint research between Toyohashi University of Technology and Sanshin Kenzai Kogyo, designed to ascend and descend exterior walls for inspections. The development concept focuses on ensuring the safety of workers, addressing labor shortages, digitizing inspections and surveys, and securing flexibility in application through modularization.
