【Bashang Association's Wood Biomass Boiler】 ➀ What is carbon neutrality?

The term "carbon neutral," which you often hear, do you know what it specifically means?
It means balancing the "emissions" and "absorption" of greenhouse gases.
"Zero emissions overall" means that the "emissions" of greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide, are offset by the "absorption" from activities such as afforestation and forest management, resulting in a net total that is effectively zero.
In October 2020, the government declared its aim to achieve "carbon neutrality," effectively reducing greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.
Currently, over 120 countries and regions have set the goal of "carbon neutrality by 2050."
