Started offering the training system "MR Anatomy," which allows observation of CT scan images in mixed reality, contributing to the understanding of the three-dimensional structure of the lungs by healthcare professionals.

Medtronic Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as Medtronic), Canon Inc. (Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as Canon), Canon IT Solutions Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as Canon ITS), and Zaiosoft Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as Zaiosoft) have collaborated to provide a training system for healthcare professionals called "MR Anatomy"*, which allows observation of lung structures captured by computed tomography (CT) in mixed reality (MR). This system will be available starting in early July 2024. In recent years, particularly in lung cancer surgeries, there has been an increase in procedures known as segmentectomies, which involve the removal of smaller tumors. Consequently, there is a growing demand for healthcare professionals to have a more refined understanding of lung structures. This system aims to enhance the quality of education and training in medical settings by displaying high-definition, life-sized 3D images of the lungs in the real world, thereby deepening the understanding of anatomical structures such as the relationships between organs, blood vessels, and lesions.
