Instron (Headquartered in Massachusetts, USA) - Instron has announced a next-generation auto-injector testing system for the full functionality testing of pen injectors and auto-injectors according to ISO 11608.
インストロンジャパンカンパニイリミテッド 日本支社
This system measurement, developed in close collaboration with pharmaceutical companies and CDMOs, meets various essential performance requirements such as cap removal, dose accuracy, activation load, injection time, needle depth, and needle guard lockout. Since a complete set of tests can be conducted on a single system rather than multiple systems, the testing, data integration, and verification processes are simplified, streamlining the technology transfer to the manufacturing site. By adding a simple auto-injector testing method to Instron's Bluehill Universal software, the development and modification of test methods can be easily accomplished. First, select which tests (cap removal, injection, and/or needle guard lockout confirmation or invalid load) to perform and set your desired parameters. The system then automatically executes a series of tests, providing results such as cap removal and activation load, timing of injection, measurements of needle depth at the start and end of injection, detection of click sounds, delivered volume, and safety confirmation results.
