The ring mode fiber laser "DK ORION" from DK LASER has three output modes: single mode, multi-mode, and simultaneous single/multi output mode. With a minimum fiber core diameter of 14μm, it can achieve a maximum core output of up to 3kW. It features a reflection prevention function, allowing for stable processing over long periods.

The Infinity Plus series offers even greater stability than the Infinity series, with a shorter pulse rise time (less than 40 μs), making it suitable for stable high-speed processing such as drilling. The output types range widely from 50 to 100W, and the oscillation wavelengths can be selected from 10.6 / 10.2 / 9.3 µm. The compact design of IRADION's CO2 lasers makes it easy to replace existing CO2 lasers currently in use. It is possible to measure CO2 laser light pulses at high speed.

The high-speed detector (power meter) for CO2 lasers from Germany's Fortec HTS company employs a thermoelectric element with a fast response speed (rise time of 1μs @300kHz) to measure the pulses of CO2 laser light. While it cannot measure laser output in absolute values, it is used to detect output fluctuations in relative values. There is also a type with a rise time of approximately 400ns available. Please prepare the DC power supply (±15V) and cooling equipment yourself.

When conducting structural analysis of organic compounds, IR, NMR, and MS can be considered the three sacred treasures. If the analysis is performed correctly, it is possible to elucidate the structure of even quite complex compounds. However, actual spectra are often not of a single compound, as seen in textbooks, which can lead to significant challenges in interpreting results for beginners in analysis. Additionally, while database searches are a useful tool in structural analysis, the ability to read spectra is necessary to select the correct structure from among the candidates, not just pattern matching. In this course, we will lecture on the basic ways to interpret IR, NMR, and MS spectra, including simple explanations of principles, points to be aware of during analysis, and how to proceed with actual analysis, incorporating some exercises as well.
