Image quality, productivity, cost performance. The best choice in every aspect. The new standard for Direct to Film printers, TY-300, has arrived.
Roland DG Corporation, which manufactures and sells commercial inkjet printers, announces the launch of its new Direct To Film (DTF) transfer printer, the TY-300, which is attracting significant attention in the apparel goods market. Sales will initially start in Japan, followed by a global rollout.
The DTF transfer printer allows for the creation of original T-shirts and sportswear through a simple process: after printing on a special film, hot melt powder is applied and heat melted, then the film is layered onto the fabric and heat pressed. This solution makes it easy to decorate with complex designs, and it can be used on a wide range of materials including cotton, polyester, cotton-poly blends, denim, nylon, and rayon, enabling transfers onto both light and dark colored fabrics, which is why it is currently gaining significant attention in the market.
The TY-300 has been developed as a new standard model for DTF transfer printers, featuring vibrant colors, excellent detail expression, high productivity, and cost performance, all of which are essential for the apparel business.
