We would like to introduce our surface hardening treatment technology for stainless steel, 'Expanite'. The low-temperature gas process "Expanite Low-T" achieves a surface hardness of 900 to 1200 HV after treatment, with a hardened layer depth of 5 to 35 μm. The high-temperature gas process "Expanite High-T" results in a surface hardness of 250 to 900 HV after treatment, with a hardened layer depth of 500 to 1000 μm.
