Miraxia standardizes initial response to microcontroller EOL occurrences in "as short as 2 weeks" — Launching the "Microcontroller EOL Response 'Requirements Definition' Service," a specialized outsourcing service for requirements definition, starting in late January 2026.
Miraxia Edge Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto Prefecture, Representative: Shogo Nakazawa) will start offering a specialized outsourcing service for the requirements definition process, "Microcontroller EOL Response 'Requirements Definition' Service," in late January 2026, aimed at software developers and product planners in the manufacturing and social infrastructure sectors facing supply uncertainties in semiconductors and an increase in microcontroller end-of-life (EOL) situations. This service aims to standardize and accelerate initial responses to the replacement demand associated with an estimated annual scale of approximately 5,000 microcontroller EOL cases in Japan, thereby reducing the burden on personnel and improving the quality of the requirements definition process. This estimate is based on our own calculations using the number of microcontroller sales from the WSTS (World Semiconductor Trade Statistics) Spring 2024 semiconductor market forecast.
