Additionally, Agilent will introduce analytical technologies that support the manufacturing processes of antibody drugs, as well as the latest solutions and automation technologies that are useful for research and development, providing information that contributes to solving on-site challenges.
Lecture 1: "Latest Trends in Human Resource Development and Education in the Biopharmaceutical Field"
Bioeducation and Research Promotion Organization (BECRET)
Executive Director, Dr. Kazuhisa Uchida
The diversification of antibody drugs, the expansion of modalities in the fields of viral vectors, mRNA vaccines, and cell therapies, as well as an increase in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) operations, have led to a rise in biopharmaceutical manufacturing sites domestically. Consequently, there is a shortage of personnel related to CMC and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) manufacturing, which has become a challenge. One approach to solving this issue is the expectation for automation of manufacturing and analytical equipment.
