Sandvik (Sweden) and Alpha Metallurgical Resources (TN) establish a manufacturing joint venture.
A new manufacturing facility has been established in the "Waterways Industrial Park" in Poca, West Virginia, through a joint venture between Sweden's Sandvik (51%) and the U.S. company Alpha Metallurgical Resources (49%).
This facility will enhance support for U.S. customers from West Virginia's manufacturing base.

Business Activities: Manufacturing of "rock bolts" and "resin capsules" for mining and infrastructure. In addition to long-term supply to Alpha, sales and support to third parties will also be conducted.
