September 13th: Received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 5th Monozukuri Japan Awards.

The only manufacturer in Japan specializing in machining centers, our company Kitamura Machinery's president, Akihiro Kitamura, received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award in the product and technology development category of the Prime Minister's Award for "Monozukuri Japan" on September 13.
The "Monozukuri Japan Award" is a system that honors individuals recognized as particularly outstanding among various generations actively engaged in monozukuri, which has steadily inherited and further developed manufacturing that has significantly contributed to the development of Japanese industry and culture, as well as the formation of a prosperous national life. Since the establishment of the system in fiscal year 2005, it has been held biennially, and this marks the fifth edition.
Following the receipt of the Excellent Award at the first "Monozukuri Japan Award" in August 2005, this is the second award, and this time, it is the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award, which follows the highest award, the Prime Minister's Award. Kitamura also received the "Intellectual Property Contribution Award from the Commissioner of the Japan Patent Office" in April this year for his contributions to the promotion and development of the industrial property rights system.
This award was given for overcoming advanced technical challenges and achieving the development and practical application of groundbreaking products and production technologies that had never been seen before, with the awarded project being the development of the "One-Chucking Six-Sided Machining Center (Aerial Machining Machine) Mycube."
