The cushioning caster (torsion spring type) won the "Gold Award" at the iF Industrial Design Award 2012!

The casters attached to carts and wagons generate shocks and noise due to bumps and uneven surfaces, which can lead to damage to the transported items and negatively impact quiet environments. As a countermeasure, casters have been developed with springs and cushioning materials made of resin, but this results in a complex structure that increases the weight of the casters and significantly raises product costs compared to standard products. The "Torsion Spring Type Cushioning Caster" is made entirely of spring material, featuring an extremely simple and lightweight structure, while also being low-cost. It effectively absorbs shocks by utilizing the characteristics of the torsion spring, reducing noise during operation.
