Started selling the CMOS IC "7202 Series" for 32.768kHz output crystal oscillator modules.

Seiko NPC Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Hiroaki Okawa) has started selling the CMOS IC "7202 Series" for crystal oscillator modules.
<Product Overview>
This series is a CMOS IC for crystal oscillator modules that incorporates an oscillation circuit for AT-cut crystal oscillators and outputs a divided 32.768kHz, compatible with operation at 125°C.
- Low power consumption, miniaturization, and wide operating range
Compared to conventional products, the power consumption has been reduced to one-tenth, the chip size has been reduced by 40%, and it supports a wide operating supply voltage range (1.6 to 3.63V) and operating temperature range (-40 to 125°C).
- Excellent frequency temperature characteristics and oscillation startup characteristics
By using AT-cut crystals, it achieves superior frequency characteristics (approximately 20ppm) and a short oscillation startup time (a few hundred μs) compared to products using tuning fork crystal oscillators.
