The Sentai Company Original Permanent Magnet Torque Controller [CHT Series] has two characteristics: "high reliability torque controller performance" and "minimal wear." Unlike friction-type clutches and brakes, the torque in the CHT series is transmitted by magnetic force. Permanent magnets are fixed between two bases. The shaft is secured to a hysteresis plate. Through the permanent magnets in the base, the hysteresis plate generates opposing resistance. This resistance results in the rise of torque. The angle of the permanent magnets allows for torque control. It is equipped with an excellent overload device for the driven parts. When torque is transmitted, it acts as a cushioning effect.
