Daishowa Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fujishi, Shizuoka Prefecture, President: Ryosuke Saito, hereinafter referred to as Daishowa Paper) held a ceremony on August 8, 2018, to challenge the Guinness World Record (TM) with its world’s highest quality tissue, "Juni Hitoe Tissue," which was released on March 10, 2014. It was certified as the "Most Expensive Box of Facial Tissues" by Guinness World Records (TM).

The "Juni Hitoe Tissue," which began sales at 10,000 yen per box on March 10, 2014, features twelve traditional Japanese colors such as cherry blossom, crimson, suoh, tachibana, rapeseed, young green, seedling color, evergreen, forget-me-not, lapis lazuli, bellflower, and wisteria, elegantly packaged in a special box. It showcases vibrant colors that can only be expressed by Daishowa Paper in Japan, with a fine texture that is soft and of high quality. This tissue was officially recognized today, August 8, 2018, by a Guinness World Records (TM) official as the "Most Expensive Box of Facial Tissues."
