As lightweight materials such as CFRP and GFRP, FRP continues to be expected as a next-generation structural material. In this research, we successfully devised and prototyped a groundbreaking molding method that replaces the role of gas in an autoclave with thermally expandable microcapsules, making it simple and not limited by volume. We attempted a new FRP molding method that does not use an autoclave, utilizing the thermally expandable microcapsules discovered in this research, and achieved favorable results.
