Application Introduction: Fan Static Pressure

The "static pressure" of a fan is one of the two parameters that define the performance of the fan. The more common parameter is "the amount of air the fan moves per minute or per hour." The static pressure of a fan is the resistance pressure that the fan must overcome to move air in the desired direction.
For PC gamers, both high airflow fans and high static pressure fans are required. High static pressure fans are used in areas where PC components obstruct airflow, such as in front of radiators, CPU coolers, GPU coolers, and hard drives. High static pressure is necessary to create airflow in enclosed spaces. The Air Pressure Fan Masterfan Pro 120 (Cooler Master) is ideal for blowing air into high-temperature components or tight spaces.
In low-pressure situations, digital output pressure sensors like the All Sensors DLLR Series can accommodate manufacturing, installation verification, or ongoing operational measurements.
