Vicor begins selling non-isolated buck-boost ZVS regulators that operate in environments of -55℃.

Vicor (Headquarters: Massachusetts, USA, CEO: Patrizio Vinciarelli, hereinafter: Vicor) has newly added a non-isolated buck-boost DC-DC converter PI3740 with a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to 115°C, as well as a Tin-Lead BGA package.
The PI3740 is a high power density and high efficiency buck-boost switching regulator with an input voltage range of 8 to 60V and an output voltage range of 10 to 50V. It is a SiP (System in Package) type regulator measuring 10 x 14mm, integrating control circuits, power semiconductors, and other components, with a maximum output of 140W, which can be increased by using them in parallel. It employs Vicor's proprietary Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technology, achieving high efficiency (96%).
