Characteristics of the Reverberation Chamber for Vehicle-mounted Equipment EMC Testing (Tokyo Area)

The JQA Safety Electromagnetic Center (Hachioji City, Tokyo) has a Reverberation Chamber (RVC) that conducts detailed characteristic measurements and confirms that it meets all the requirements specified in ISO 11452-11 and IEC 61000-4-21.
- Electric field uniformity (no load): Meets the requirements of both standards at frequencies from 160 MHz to 6 GHz (12 star steps)
- Maximum chamber loading: Achieved with 24 TDK absorbers (IS-045) (size 1.8m × 0.6m × 2.04m)
- Usable electric field strength: 200 V/m from 160 MHz to 6 GHz, and 400 V/m in the radar pulse band of ISO 11452-11
High-quality immunity tests can be conducted in the reverberation chamber with a more flexible test layout. We encourage you to make use of it.
