■ Press Forming Simulation Technology Used in Digital Manufacturing Workshops
[Lecture Summary]
The Hiroshima Economic Federation's Manufacturing Committee and the Hiroshima Digital Innovation Center are jointly planning and operating a digital manufacturing workshop aimed at improving local technological capabilities. From the results reported in the digital manufacturing workshop, we will introduce the robust analysis function used to analyze the causes of sudden breakage during mass production, the combination of shape modification functions and statistical methods used to examine springback suppression shapes, and methods that improved the consistency with actual materials, such as springback and material flow.

The "Mold Technology Workshop," now in its 27th year, will be held on November 18 (Thursday) at the Hiroshima International Conference Center in Naka Ward, Hiroshima City. Stakeholders from academia, industry, and government involved in mold technology from across the country will gather to present their research and development achievements, and discuss the advancement and high value-added aspects of mold making, as well as future directions in related fields. This includes 47 general papers on topics such as mold design and manufacturing, pressing, injection molding, die casting, and digital innovation in manufacturing that will be presented at the workshop.
