We have published the interview article "Shining a Light on Employment for the Visually Impaired with Strong Support from ICT Utilization."

On the "Hodokun Guideway" website, we spotlight individuals who continue to run with dreams, introducing their thoughts and activities.
This time, we are featuring Akira Kitakami, the chairman of the non-profit organization, the Visual Impairment Computer Assist Network (commonly known as SPAN).
The use of ICT greatly expands the working possibilities for those who are visually impaired or have difficulty seeing. SPAN provides careful computer instruction to help visually impaired individuals become valuable assets in the workplace. Many people have participated in their programs and are actively applying the computer skills they have acquired in their jobs. We hope that both companies and individuals with disabilities will learn about SPAN's initiatives.
