Allied Telesis, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Akira Oshima) will begin shipping the wireless LAN access points "AT-TQ6602 GEN2" and "AT-TQm6602 GEN2," which support 4x4 streams, starting February 21, 2022.
The "AT-TQ6602 GEN2" supports the latest standard, Wi-Fi 6 4x4 streams, achieving high capacity and speed with a maximum of 2.4 Gbps (5 GHz band) and 1.1 Gbps (2.4 GHz band). It is a dual-radio wireless LAN access point that allows simultaneous use of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, capable of connecting up to 500 devices*, enabling a large-scale Wi-Fi 6 environment. The "AT-TQm6602 GEN2," released on the same day, offers high cost performance by limiting software features while maintaining the same hardware capabilities as the "AT-TQ6602 GEN2." It is recommended for building small to medium-sized Wi-Fi 6 4x4 environments.
