A beam expander is used to expand a laser beam into a parallel light beam of a certain magnification. The divergence angle of the emitted light beam decreases inversely with that magnification, allowing for focusing on a small spot. Daiko Seisakusho offers custom designs tailored to the incident and emitted laser diameters.
