"Filatomixta" is an ultra-fine glass fiber product with an average diameter of 0.6 to 3.5 microns. In terms of thermal properties, it is an excellent insulation material that demonstrates a thermal conductivity equivalent to that of general glass wool insulation at about half the density, allowing for a higher level of insulation effect in limited spaces. Additionally, regarding sound absorption properties, the finer the fiber diameter, the more the air between the fibers is subdivided, enabling efficient absorption of sound energy, making it a fiber material with excellent sound absorption performance. There are two shapes available: wool and felt, which can be used according to the application.
