basic information
Compression molding involves placing measured molding materials into the cavity of a heated mold and applying pressure using a compression molding machine to cure it. Compared to injection molding and other methods, it tends to produce more flash (excess material that flows out and solidifies in the gaps of the mold), which can make finishing more labor-intensive. However, it offers significant advantages, such as the ability to create thick, high-strength products at a relatively low cost and in large quantities. **Features** - Minimal material loss since the molding material is directly placed into the open mold. - High-strength products can be produced due to the absence of material orientation, allowing the properties of the resin to be utilized. - Suitable for molding large or thick products as pressure is applied directly to the product. - Internal stress in the product is minimized since pressure is applied directly. - Easy to produce multiple items at once. - We carry out the entire process from molding to finishing in-house, allowing us to perform time-consuming tasks like flash removal as quickly as possible.
