basic information
Insert molding is a molding technique in which insert parts are pre-installed in the mold, after which the mold is closed and resin is injected, forming composite parts that integrate the resin and the insert parts. (In the case of compression molding, after installing the insert parts, the resin is placed in the mold and the mold is closed.) As for items that can be inserted, as long as they can withstand the pressure and temperature during molding, a variety of materials can be used, including metals, thermosetting resin (plastic) molded products, ceramic products, rubber products, leather, films, glass, wood, fabrics, etc., allowing for a wide range of applications to meet the needs of various industries. 【Features】 ■ Compared to molded products where insert parts are added or attached after molding, higher strength and durability are expected. ■ A wide range of product development is possible by combining the advantages of insert parts with the properties of thermosetting resins, which excel in flexibility and durability. ■ Complex three-dimensional shapes that are difficult to achieve after molding are possible. (Complete encapsulation of insert parts is also possible.) ■ Aesthetic appearance and tactile feel are improved, enhancing added value. *For other functions and details, please download the catalog or contact us.
