CADlook Translator/Viewer can convert, display, verify, and edit the following 3D CAD file formats. ■ Supported formats: Input: IGES, STEP, Parasolid, SAT, VDA-FS, NC G-Code, Output: IGES, STEP, Parasolid, SAT, VDA-FS, STL, VRML (V2), Postscript (EPS), BMP-JPEG ■ It also supports assemblies and drawings. It supports both AP203 and AP214 for STEP. ■ Special features for assembly operations are provided. ■ Various shape checks are possible. ■ Dimensions and annotations can be inserted into the model shape. They can be saved in IGES or CADlook files (.CLK files). The dimensions in CADlook are inserted as faithful representations of the CAD data, not as polygon representations for display. ■ You can select part of the model and save it to a file. ■ Multiple files can be loaded and saved into a single file.

If you are having trouble with your CAD/CAM/CAE not being able to read formats such as IGES, STEP, Parasolid, Acis, or VDA-FS, or if you are experiencing issues with missing shapes when loading IGES data, please try the translation function in CADlook. It is also possible to load IGES B-Repanifold Object (186) and convert it to trim surface (144) for output. Additionally, the assembly data structure of IGES STEP Parasolid (X_T) can be faithfully reproduced.
