Diaphragm-type homogenizer
- Adoption of a double diaphragm system with no leakage to avoid contamination by bacteria and microorganisms. - No concern about contamination from plunger seal debris in the produced products. - No need for water injection or similar processes required for plunger systems. - Minimum particle size: 0.1 to 20 microns. - A two-stage homogenizer can be constructed. - Diaphragms are available in two types: PTFE and metal. - CIP cleaning, which is unsuitable for plunger systems, is possible (minimal dead space). - Significant reduction in maintenance costs (less frequent replacement of plunger seals).
