ESD protection label for safeguarding valuable electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage during the printed circuit board assembly process [RoHS compliant].
In recent years, due to advancements in functionality and miniaturization, semiconductor devices have become very sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Destruction caused by ESD can lead to serious troubles that may affect human lives, depending on the field, such as operational failures. Brady has developed safe ESD control labels to minimize damage from electrostatic discharge during the manufacturing process. Brady's ESD control labels comply with RoHS standards.

basic information
In recent years, measures against static electricity have been widely implemented in the field. There are countless causes of static electricity generation, including labels used in process management. Most commonly used labels are insulating, so when they are peeled off the backing, the charge on the label retains static electricity and is transferred to substrates or electronic components when applied. The ESD from these labels can exceed 1000V, posing a risk of instantly destroying expensive components. Brady's ESD protection labels have static electricity dissipation properties (corresponding to a surface resistance range of 1×10^4 to 1×10^11 ohms as per ANSI/ESD S20.20) and can instantly discharge the ESD on the label to a low level (below 25V) that does not affect electronic components. Brady's ESD protection labels comply with RoHS.
