High-performance elastomer used GHz BGA socket
A socket that is perfect for evaluating and verifying devices such as BGA and QFN! - Contact reliability that is not affected by the size or pitch of the device. - Utilizes high-performance elastomers to achieve low contact resistance, making evaluation at GHz levels feasible due to minimal distance between the device and the substrate. - Can be implemented even with components around the substrate (*). - The device can be directly implemented after evaluation. *Please consult us in advance regarding the substrate you are using.

basic information
Features of the IRONWOOD BGA Socket ● Allows evaluation of devices without soldering. ● Uses high-performance elastomer, minimizing frequency loss to TYP. 1db@6.5GHz. ● Supports multi-pin, narrow-pitch devices. Compatible pitch: 0.5mm (minimum). ● Devices can be mounted directly after evaluation without re-balling or other processes. ● The mounting area is only 2.5mm around the PCB. *What is high-performance elastomer? High-performance elastomer is a sheet that embeds ultra-fine wires into silicone rubber. The wire parts conduct electricity, while the silicone rubber parts are insulated and do not conduct, allowing only the pressurized areas to conduct. Our BGA socket can achieve conduction between the pressurized areas of the BGA solder balls and the patterns on the PCB due to this characteristic.
