Aluminum-based composite castings are a new material with excellent properties that surpass conventional materials, and their application as high-performance structural components is being advanced. However, due to their nature as difficult-to-cast materials, they present many challenges. This research aims to develop and put into practical use an innovative casting method (hybrid sand mold low-pressure casting method) that enhances the casting of aluminum-based composites with good castability and high productivity by applying low-pressure casting principles and high-frequency molten metal heating technology to sand casting.
