Equipped with a depth sensor and a water temperature sensor, it can not only confirm the measured water depth but also be used for measuring the vertical profile of water temperature.
The AEM213-D is a portable electromagnetic induction flow direction and velocity meter that can measure not only in oceans but also in rivers, canals, and lakes. It has been fully improved from the compass-equipped model ACM210-D and has successfully been miniaturized. It comes standard with a depth sensor and a water temperature sensor, allowing for confirmation of the measurement depth and also enabling vertical profiling of water temperature. Additionally, the display unit is equipped with a 2MB flash memory calendar function, allowing for automatic recording of measurement data while continuing accurate measurements.
