This is a moisture meter using infrared heating and drying.
The FD-720 can switch between high precision of 0.01% and the standard 0.1% to display moisture content. To achieve high-precision measurements, this device employs a balance unit with a resolution of 1mg called "Uniblock," and it is equipped with a newly developed medium-wave infrared quartz heater with a large heat capacity of 625W in the drying section. Additionally, it features a "Rapid Drying Mode" enabled by drying control software, allowing moisture values to be obtained in a short measurement time, significantly reducing measurement time for certain samples. It can store up to 10 types of measurement conditions in the memory area, eliminating the need for manual setting of conditions each time, even for samples with different measurement conditions. This device is positioned as a moisture meter for quality control departments and inspection departments that require advanced moisture management, and it can be used for high-precision moisture control.
