It has become possible to process "corner holes" even in non-conductors such as resin.
The ICC holder developed by our company is a revolutionary tool that allows for the machining of square holes using a drilling cycle. Traditionally, machining square holes has been considered a difficult task, but with the ICC holder and specially shaped cutting tools, it can now be easily processed using milling machines and machining centers. Not only does this eliminate the need to switch to a wire EDM machine for creating square holes after cutting, but it also significantly reduces processing time compared to wire EDM, leading to cost savings. Additionally, it enables machining of non-conductive materials such as resins, which cannot be handled by wire EDM machines.
