This is a dryer that continuously dries slurry and extracts solid components dispersed in the slurry at the size of primary particles. The slurry is directly supplied to a fluidized medium in the drying tower using a pump, where it is in a fluidized state due to hot air. The supplied slurry adheres to the surface of the medium in a film-like manner while being dispersed and dried within the fluidized bed. The evaporated substances in the slurry are dried in a short time, and the solid components remaining on the surface of the medium are continuously peeled off due to contact between the media and are discharged from the fluidized tower along with exhaust, where they are collected as dried powder using a cyclone, bag filter, etc.

**Features** - The dried powder can be obtained at a size close to the raw material particle diameter due to collisions and friction between the media particles. - The active movement of the media particles allows for rapid and efficient dispersion of slurry-like substances within the layer, enabling drying treatment across a wide range from low to high viscosity materials. - The heat transfer coefficient ha (kW/m³·K) can achieve values comparable to those of conventional fluidized bed drying equipment, resulting in a compact device and reducing the volume of the drying tower to about 1/20 compared to spray dryers. - Efficient heat exchange is possible due to the active fluidization between the media, which reduces the required thermal energy. - There is no need for a spraying device to micronize slurry-like substances, eliminating the need to adjust the viscosity of the slurry concentrate. - The drying tower has no rotating equipment or drive components, making maintenance and inspection easy. Additionally, it can be designed with cleanliness (sanitary) considerations in mind.
