The function of the slide ring is to guide the piston and rod of the cylinder, absorb lateral loads, and simultaneously prevent metal contact, optimizing the function of the sealing system. The slide ring is available in three types of materials that excel in wear resistance and have low friction. The Turcite is suitable for low to medium radial load applications, the Highmod is for medium to high load applications, and the Olcott is for applications with high radial loads.
