Equipped with a DSP (Digital Signal Processor), it achieves stable measurement through unique signal processing. Utilizing ultrasound, it measures the flow velocity of fluids and calculates the flow rate from the flow velocity. Sensors are installed upstream and downstream of the flow, and the flow velocity is determined from the time difference of ultrasonic propagation when signals are sent in both forward and reverse directions from each sensor, which is then converted to flow rate. Since there are no structures inside the piping, flow measurement can be performed under conditions of minimal pressure loss.
