Our company's name was not always Topura since its inception; it was initially "Toyo Plus Screw Co., Ltd." Until then, screws primarily had slotted heads (minus), and the tools used for tightening were minus screwdrivers. Topura quickly adopted a cross hole (plus) in the head and became the first JIS-certified factory in Japan.
