To process efficiently, it is equipped with barcode readers, cash drawers, receipt printers, and display devices. Until now, POS systems were dedicated machines, but the biggest feature is that they have become affordable POS systems using commercially available PCs and network-based systems. With the internet (which requires various security measures), POS can be used from anywhere in Japan.
