The quality of the shift feeling in the transmission is determined by the state of the synchronizer's operation. During shifting, when the hub sleeve lightly contacts the synchronizer link, it rotates to match the speed of the gear side due to the frictional force. This functioning of the synchronizer allows for smooth shifting. Our company has developed a friction modifier to achieve this frictional force, and by blending this friction modifier, we ensure the synchronizer operates normally and shifting is smooth. The base oil is a blend of four types of esters with different viscosities, excelling in heat resistance, cold resistance, and oil resistance. This allows for a smooth shift feeling across a wide temperature range, from low to high temperatures. Furthermore, to prevent thermal breakdown during prolonged high-temperature driving, we do not use any polymers. Additionally, as a countermeasure for front-wheel drive transmissions equipped with mechanical LSD, we have blended a new type of LSD friction modifier to prevent chattering during LSD operation and ensure smooth functioning of the LSD. Compared to our conventional transmission oil, it has 3 to 4 times the durability.
