The K102 from Kromek is a low-cost pulse height analysis device (voltage histogram) that overturns the conventional wisdom of traditional multi-channel analyzers (MCA). Its size is that of a USB memory stick. By simply connecting it directly to a PC's USB port, the PC transforms into an MCA.

The K102 is an MCA equipped with a high-precision 12-bit (4096) ADC, yet it is the size of a USB memory stick. The input dynamic range is 0-2.5V, and it can obtain PHA spectra from the unipolar pulse signals shaped by the amplifier. The control program, Kspect, which operates on Windows, is standardly included.
