CDI is a continuous electric regeneration type pure water system that does not require resin regeneration with chemicals. The CDI system licensed by IONPURE in the United States is a pure water unit that houses the modules (LX type / VNX type) in a compact skid, allowing for the continuous production of pure water with a purity of 1 MΩ·cm or higher by simply supplying RO permeate water. Additionally, since chemical resin regeneration is not required, it is possible to reduce the costs of regeneration agents and wastewater treatment.
