The guideline concentration for stable residual chlorine management is set at 1 ppm. Concentrations higher than 1 ppm can lead to issues such as "unpleasant chlorine odor for swimmers" and "skin irritation due to excessive oxidation capacity." Conversely, lower concentrations may not be sufficient for effective disinfection and algae control. Copper ions and silver ions can be used in conjunction with chlorine agents.
