Fine coating applied to shear blades for steelmaking. We guarantee long lifespan.
Kentech's shear blades not only undergo conventional hardening but also feature a unique ceramic coating, demonstrating exceptional cutting performance on stainless steel and high-tensile (high-strength steel) materials. The ceramic coating utilizes vanadium carbide (VC). The VC coating, which has the same cubic crystal structure as diamond, boasts a high hardness of HV3000. Thanks to a proprietary molten salt method, it achieves a level of adhesion that traditional PVD titanium coatings do not, significantly extending the lifespan of the cutting tools.
